Pedra da Gale lies in the waters off São Tomé and Príncipe, an island nation in the Gulf of Guinea off the west coast of Central Africa. The site takes its name from a rock formation offshore, typical of the volcanic terrain that shapes diving around this archipelago. It reaches a maximum depth of around 26 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
