Pedreira Pirapora is a flooded former quarry near Pirapora do Bom Jesus, in the interior of Sao Paulo state, along the Tiete River region. Flooded quarries in this part of Brazil are popular with inland divers for training and depth certification dives, given the lack of nearby ocean access. This site reaches a maximum depth of around 80 metres, making it one of the deeper inland options in the region for divers working on advanced or technical depth certifications.
