About this site
Pilou is a reef dive site off Nosy Iranja, the small island pair connected by a tidal sandbar in the Diana region near Nosy Be, on Madagascar's northwest coast in the Mozambique Channel. The site is reached by boat from the Nosy Be area. Divers here have reported angelfish, leaf scorpionfish, mackerel, nudibranchs, scorpionfish, triggerfish, and even whale sharks passing through.
