About this site
Pinang Wreck lies off Redang Island, part of the marine park on the South China Sea side of Terengganu in Malaysia, and is reached by a short boat trip from the resorts along the island's beaches. It is a wreck site rather than a reef dive, drawing divers interested in the structure itself alongside the surrounding marine park waters. Divers have also reported manta rays and whale sharks passing through the area, though sightings of these larger pelagics are occasional rather than guaranteed.
