About this site
The Platourada shipwreck lies off Stira, on the southern coast of Euboea island in Central Greece, an area of the Aegean known for scattered wreck sites along its rocky shoreline. Stira sits on the Karystos Gulf side of the island, facing the waters between Euboea and the Greek mainland. The wreck reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres and is rated an advanced dive.
