About this site
Plava Spilja, known as the Blue Cave, sits along the coast of the Lustica peninsula in Herceg Novi Municipality, on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro near the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. The cave takes its name from the blue light reflecting off the seabed through the clear water inside its chamber, and it is a common stop for boat trips out of nearby coastal towns.
