Playa el Morro Las Anclas lies along the Almería coast in southeastern Spain, an area shaped by volcanic rock formations typical of the Cabo de Gata stretch of Andalusia's Mediterranean shoreline. The site sits near the town of Almería itself, where rocky points and small coves give access to the sea along this arid, sparsely developed coastline. As an artificial site, it reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
