About this site
Playa Fosil sits along the Tarragona coastline in Catalonia, on Spain's Mediterranean shore, within the wider stretch of rocky coast south of the city where small coves give access to the sea. Divers here have reported fried egg jellyfish, loggerhead sea turtles, ornate wrasse, and both mystery and ringneck blennies among the marine life around the site.
