Playa Las Gatas sits on a small bay at the southern end of Zihuatanejo Bay, on the Pacific coast of Guerrero, Mexico, and is typically reached by water taxi from the main town beach. The bay is sheltered by a natural rock breakwater, which keeps the water calm compared to open stretches of coast nearby, making it a beginner dive site.
