Pointe Cacau lies along the coastline near Cassis, in the Var department of the French Riviera, close to the limestone calanques that mark this stretch of the Mediterranean coast. Dive sites in this area are typically reached by boat from the small harbor at Cassis, set against the steep cliffs that characterize the Calanques coast. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is considered a beginner dive. Divers have reported grouper, octopus, and wrasse along the rocky terrain here.
