About this site
Port Gaverne is a small cove on the north Cornwall coast, near Port Isaac, opening onto the Atlantic swell of the Celtic Sea. Diving here reaches a maximum depth of around 14 metres and is considered suitable for beginners. A single source notes strong surge as a hazard when swell is running, so conditions are worth checking before entry. The same source reports cuttlefish, lobster, and wrasse in the area.
