Porto Marie (The Valley)

Porto Marie sits on the southwest, leeward coast of Curaçao, a stretch known for calm, easily accessible shore diving reached from the beach at Porto Marie bay. The site, known as The Valley, is a reef dive to a maximum depth of around 12 metres, rated beginner with no current and good visibility. Eagle rays and parrotfish are regularly seen over the reef, and divers have also reported angelfish, barracuda, frogfish, octopus, and seahorses here. The sheltered, shallow layout makes it a straightforward entry from shore before the reef slopes toward deeper water further out.
