The Princess Royal is a wreck on the north coast of Cornwall, lying in 40 metres of water and rising to around 36 metres. The SS Princess Royal was built by Caledon Shipbuilding in Dundee in 1912.
Visibility on the wreck is around 10 to 15 metres, with plenty of particles in the water, and it is darker than on the south coast of Cornwall. There is a lot to see, including the propeller, boilers, winches and a porthole. Bib and tompot blennies are numerous on the structure, and lobsters shelter among the wreckage.
