Punta Del Castillo lies along the Cabo de Gata coast in the municipality of Nijar, Almeria province, within the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park in Andalusia. This stretch of southeastern Spanish coastline is volcanic in origin, with rocky points and coves that draw divers from towns along the park's shoreline.
