Punta Rata sits on the Croatian Adriatic coast, near Brela in the Makarska Riviera area, at coordinates around 43.37N, 16.92E. The site is a reef reaching a maximum depth of about 17 metres and is considered a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have also reported barracuda, manta ray, and Napoleon wrasse here, though these sightings are unusual for the Adriatic and worth treating as occasional rather than typical.
