About this site
Purple Wall lies off Vanua Levu, Fiji's second largest island, in the Somosomo Strait area of Melanesia known for its soft coral formations. The site sits within a region of reef and channel diving served by operators based around Savusavu and Taveuni. The wall reaches a maximum depth of around 60 metres and is rated a technical dive. Divers have reported barracuda, fusilier, mackerel, manta ray, nudibranch, and trevally along the wall.
