About this site
Qamea Shore lies off Qamea Island, a small volcanic island near Taveuni in Fiji's Vanua Levu group. The site reaches a maximum depth of about 13.7 metres and is considered a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have also reported barracuda, clownfish, grouper, trevally, hammerhead sharks, and even whales passing through the area, though sightings of the larger species are occasional rather than routine.
