About this site
Qingshui Tan (清水潭) is a karst spring pool at Ningcun, Jinling town, west of Nanning, fed by an underground river, dived from shore to 16 m in summer. Visibility is 8–15 m in clear conditions, though river backflow in summer can cut the top 3 m to nothing, and an opening at 14 m lets divers pass through to the far side and back to the surface; water 22–28 °C. It is a regular training and photography site.
