Ramsgarth is the wreck of the SS Ramsgarth, lying at 27 metres about 10 nautical miles southeast of Littlehampton. Built in 1910, she was sunk on 28 November 1916 by the German submarine UB-39 while on a voyage in ballast from Cardiff and Brixham to the Tyne. There were no casualties.
The wreck rests on her starboard side, with the bow and stern fairly intact while the midships is collapsing. Some large ship-shaped pieces still stand, which makes for a very interesting dive. Pollock and a large lobster are in residence.
