Ras Homkorab lies along the Egyptian Red Sea coast north of Marsa Alam, a headland facing the offshore reef systems of that stretch of coastline, and is typically reached by boat from dive centers in the Marsa Alam region. Divers here have reported elegant unicornfish, exquisite butterflyfish, green damselfish, Indian bullethead parrotfish, Indian sailfin tang, Klunzinger's wrasse, regal angelfish, and slingjaw wrasse around the reef.
