About this site
This wreck dive features a sunken WWII Junkers aircraft resting at 38 meters near Elba Island. The intact fuselage and wings create an eerie yet fascinating artificial reef, attracting schools of barracuda, groupers, and moray eels. Strong currents occasionally sweep the site, making it ideal for advanced divers. The clear Tyrrhenian waters offer excellent visibility to explore the plane's cockpit and scattered debris. Nearby rocky slopes host colorful sponges and crustaceans. Best dived in calm conditions.
