About this site
Rheinau-Ellikon lies along the Rhine near the Swiss-German border, close to the town of Rheinau in the canton of Zurich, just across from the Baden-Württemberg side of the river in Germany. This stretch of the Rhine runs through a rural, wooded section of the valley between the two countries. The site is dived as a drift, with the current carrying divers along the river channel, and it reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a beginner-level dive.
