About this site
The Rimbaud Wreck lies near the Moucha and Maskali Islands in the Gulf of Tadjoura, off the coast of Djibouti, within the wider Gulf of Aden system and sheltered by the islands. It is reached by boat from the mainland near Djibouti City. Divers here have reported Arabian butterflyfish, bluestriped snapper, crimson soldierfish, pearl toby, Red Sea anemonefish, regal angelfish, and yellowtip soldierfish around the wreck site.
