Rooi Els Point sits along the Western Cape coast of South Africa, on the eastern side of False Bay near the small settlement of Rooi Els below the Kogelberg mountains. This stretch of coastline faces the open water of False Bay, an area known for its cold Atlantic-influenced currents and rocky shoreline. The site is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
