Santa Barbara Island is a small, isolated island within Channel Islands National Park, off the Southern California coast, situated between the Los Angeles area and Santa Catalina Island. Its surrounding waters are known for kelp forest and rocky reef habitat typical of the northern Channel Islands, reached mainly by boat from harbors such as Ventura or Oxnard.
