About this site
Sadana is an island site off Egypt's Red Sea coast, near Sadana Island south of Safaga. The maximum depth here is around 10 metres, and despite the shallow range it is generally rated an advanced dive, with light current and great visibility over a reef bottom. Dolphins and eagle rays are regularly seen here, and divers have also reported angelfish, clownfish, grouper, parrotfish, pufferfish, scorpionfish, stonefish, elegant unicornfish, exquisite butterflyfish, Indian sailfin tang, Klunzinger's wrasse, lagoon brittle stars, regal angelfish, small giant clams, Red Sea anemonefish, and even whale sharks passing through.
