About this site
Sakiyama (崎山) is a shore-entry cave site on the Motobu Peninsula of Okinawa's main island, with a maximum depth of 20 m and an average around 13 m. Entry follows a cable from a tide pool at the reef edge, and from there a fissure runs seaward with abundant coral on both sides. Further out, sea turtles and dogtooth tuna are seen; the tidal range is large. From beginner/novice level.
