Sampler

The Sampler is a shore dive site along the leeward coast of Bonaire, part of the island's marked and protected marine park where sites are accessed by rental truck and entered from the rocky shoreline. Like most Bonaire sites it fronts a fringing reef that slopes from a shallow terrace down toward a drop-off, with a yellow-painted rock marking the entry point as is the local convention. Divers here have reported hawksbill turtles moving along the reef, along with bluehead wrasse, stoplight, princess, and queen parrotfish, smooth trunkfish, trumpetfish, and Christmas tree worms studding the coral.
