Sand Bank Outside lies off Dhiffushi in North Male Atoll, on the outer edge of the reef system that faces the open channel waters of Kaafu Atoll. Dive operators based on Dhiffushi and nearby resort islands use sites along this outer atoll rim for boat excursions into the surrounding Maldivian waters.
