Sand Chute lies along the coast of Grand Cayman, part of the fringing reef and wall system that rings the island, and is typically reached by boat from operators near George Town or the surrounding coastal areas. As its name suggests, the site features a sand channel cutting through the reef toward the drop-off. It reaches a maximum depth of about 21.3 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
