Scuba Ranch

Scuba Ranch is a purpose-built, spring-fed freshwater quarry covering 22–26 acres located near Terrell, Texas, about 40 miles east of Dallas. Formerly known as Clear Springs Scuba Park, it opened on 15 June 2001 and has been under new management since May 2018. The site was designed and built specifically for diving, with no boats permitted on the water.

The lake's main diving area sits at an average depth of 30–35 ft (9–10 m), with a maximum of around 60 ft (18 m) reached by descending into an on-site silo. Underwater attractions include sunken boats, airplanes, and training platforms, giving divers a variety of structures to explore across the spring-fed lake.

Visibility typically runs 10–15 ft (3–4.5 m). Because the water is spring-fed, temperature stays consistent year-round, though it becomes noticeably cold at depth, making a wetsuit advisable. The site is well suited to beginners and those pursuing scuba certification, as well as more experienced divers looking for recreational wreck exploration.
