Sd Point

SD Point is a reef dive site on Bali's coast, rated advanced with a maximum depth of around 30 metres and strong current running over the reef. Visibility is generally good. Divers commonly encounter barracuda, eagle rays, lionfish, mola mola, nudibranchs, reef sharks, sea turtles, trevally, and tuna, and there have also been reports of batfish, moray eels, octopus, pufferfish, scorpionfish, sweetlips, and even whale sharks passing through. Current here can reverse without much warning and precede a strong downcurrent, and thermoclines have also been noted, so the site demands attention to conditions throughout the dive.
