Sea Horse Bay lies along the coast of Korcula island in Dubrovnik-Neretva County, southern Croatia, an area of the Adriatic known for its limestone shoreline and clear coastal waters. The island sits between the Peljesac Peninsula and the open Adriatic, with a number of small bays and coves used for local diving and boat access. The site itself is a wall reaching a maximum depth of around 45.7 metres and is rated technical. Divers have also reported clownfish here, though that sighting stands somewhat apart from the typical Adriatic species list.
