Seal Cave lies along the coastline of the Chania region on the northwest side of Crete, in the Greek section of the Aegean and Cretan Sea waters. The Chania coast is marked by rocky headlands and small coves, and dive sites in this area are typically reached by boat from harbors around Chania town or nearby coastal villages. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 21 metres and is rated an advanced dive, consistent with the cave setting and the care needed navigating its rock formations.
