About this site
Seal Island lies in False Bay, South Africa, off the coast near Simon's Town, and is best known outside diving circles as a site for observing great white sharks hunting Cape fur seals at the surface. The dive itself is generally rated beginner level. Divers here have also reported thresher sharks and whales passing through the area.
