About this site
Secca Delle Secche is a submerged reef site off Giglio Island, in the Tuscan Archipelago within the Province of Grosseto. The waters here sit within the Tyrrhenian Sea, along a coastline known for rocky shoals and granite outcrops around the island. Divers have reported Mediterranean damselfish and ornate wrasse around the reef, along with gorgonian growth including violescent sea-whip and yellow and white gorgonians, as well as pig-tooth coral on the rock.
