Secca di Fonza is a submerged rocky pinnacle (secca) located off the island of Elba, in the Tuscan Archipelago. The site reaches a maximum depth of 40 metres with a sandy bottom, and the structure rises as a reef from the seabed, offering varied terrain across its relief.
The reef supports a diverse range of marine life. Resident species include moray eels, conger eels, crayfish, nudibranchs, damselfish, sea bream, and saddled bream. Snappers and barracudas move through the water column, while yellow and red sea fans grow across the rocky surfaces alongside sea daisies.
Conditions at Secca di Fonza are calm, with no appreciable current, making it accessible to a wide range of divers.
