About this site

Secca di Nello is a submerged rocky shoal off Monte Argentario, a promontory on the Tuscan coast in the Province of Grosseto. Dive boats operating out of the small harbors around Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole reach this stretch of the Tyrrhenian Sea, known for its rugged granite coastline dropping into deeper water. The shoal descends to a maximum depth of around 100 metres, and it is rated a technical dive.
