Serib Kebir North

Serib Kebir North lies along the offshore reef systems of Qesm Al Qoseir, in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate south of Marsa Alam, and is typically reached by boat from harbors around Qoseir or Marsa Alam out toward the reef structures that rise from the open sea. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres over a reef bottom, is rated a beginner dive, and visibility here is generally reported as great. Clownfish are common on the reef, and divers have also reported lionfish, scorpionfish, and stonefish. Some caution is warranted around narrow passages and overhead sections in the southern canyons, where silt can be stirred up, and divers have noted increasing current toward the outer edges along with venomous species such as lionfish, scorpionfish, stonefish, crocodilefish, and the Red Sea walkman.
