About this site
Serua Island lies in the Banda Sea, part of the volcanic Banda Islands arc in Maluku province, Indonesia. It is a small, remote island reached mainly by liveaboard boats crossing this stretch of the Banda Sea between the larger island groups. The site here reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have also reported harlequin shrimp on the site.
