About this site
Shark Cave sits within Cano Island Biological Reserve, off the Osa Peninsula on Costa Rica's Pacific coast, reached by boat from Uvita or Drake Bay like the rest of the island's dive sites. It is a cave-type site with a maximum depth of around 30.5 metres and is rated an advanced dive. The reserve's waters around Cano Island are protected and accessible only by boat trip from the mainland.
