Shark Fin Rock is a dive site at Cocos Island, an isolated national park roughly 550 kilometres off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, reachable only by liveaboard after a multi-day crossing from Puntarenas. Cocos Island sits at the meeting point of several oceanic currents, which draws large pelagic species to the seamounts and rocky outcrops surrounding it.
