About this site
Shidvar Island is a small island in the Persian Gulf off Iran's Hormozgan province, near Bandar Lengeh, and is designated a protected wildlife habitat known mainly for its birdlife. Diving here takes the form of a wall reaching a maximum depth of around 45 metres, rated as a technical dive. Surrounding waters are otherwise shallow, and the site remains far less developed for diving than for its status as a nature reserve.
