About this site
Shiprock is a protected wall dive in Port Hacking, Sydney, packed with fish and small marine life. The maximum depth is about 18 m and it is dived by boat.
It must be planned for slack tide, best at high slack tide, and divers need to manage the tidal flow and overhead boat traffic carefully, and avoid surfacing in the boat channel. Being inside Port Hacking does not make it a sheltered first dive.
