About this site
Silica Reef, also known as Tangdol Reef, sits off Puerto Princesa on Palawan's coast in the Philippines, within the waters of the Sulu Sea and Palawan region known for reef and coral formations. The area around Puerto Princesa is a jumping-off point for numerous reef sites reached by boat from the city's coastline. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive.
