About this site
Simpson's Barge lies offshore of West Palm Beach, Florida, on the Atlantic side of Palm Beach County, an area known for its artificial reef program of sunken vessels and barges placed to build habitat along the sandy shelf. The wreck sits at a maximum depth of around 21.3 metres and is rated an intermediate dive, with strong currents sometimes reported at the site. Divers have also reported octopus, sea turtles, stingrays, and stonefish around the structure.
