About this site
Soft Coral sits within Kepulauan Seribu, the Thousand Islands chain scattered across the Java Sea north of Jakarta, and is one of the many patch reefs in the archipelago reached by boat from the capital on weekend trips. It is rated a beginner dive with a maximum depth of around 18 metres, making it accessible to divers with limited experience. The area functions as a common diving and snorkeling destination, with the reef here forming part of the wider network of shallow sites spread across the islands.
