South Point sits off Kara Ada, a small volcanic island near Bodrum in Mugla Province, on Turkey's Aegean coast. Dive boats operating out of the Bodrum peninsula reach the island's southern tip as one of several stops around its rocky shoreline. Divers here have reported loggerhead sea turtles and reticulated leatherjackets around the site.
