About this site
Spanish Chain sits in the waters off the Turks and Caicos Islands. It has a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is considered a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have also reported frogfish and seahorses tucked along the site, worth watching for on a slow, careful pass. The bottom here mixes finger coral, lobed star coral, massive starlet coral, and mountainous star coral, giving parrotfish such as queen, stoplight, and striped varieties plenty to graze on, alongside Atlantic blue tang and Brazilian ocean surgeonfish moving over the reef.
