About this site
Spider Ledge sits off Queensland in the Coral Sea, offering dramatic underwater terrain. The site features a steep wall dropping to 30 meters, covered in vibrant soft corals and sponges. Schools of trevally and barracuda patrol the blue, while reef sharks often cruise along the ledge. Turtles and eagle rays are common sightings. Visibility is typically excellent, with mild currents making it suitable for intermediate divers. The ledge is part of a thriving reef system, teeming with colorful fish and macro life. Best dived in calm conditions for optimal exploration.
